Recess

An approximate deduction of 10mm will be made to the width ordered to ensure the blind fits within the recess without touching the sides. An approximate deduction of 10mm will be made to the drop ordered to ensure the blind does not touch the windowsill or floor.

Exact

No deductions will be made, the blind will be manufactured to the exact size ordered. Note; the drop measurement supplied will be the distance from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the fabric.

Important Note

When measuring for Vertical Blinds from an existing blind, measure from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the fabric and order as an “exact” measurement. We will make an allowance to the louvre length to allow for the headrail supplied with your new blind.

Louvre Width

Select the louvre/slat width required. 89mm (3½ inch) or, where available fabric dependent 127mm (5 inch).

Headrail Type

Standard headrail maximum width 5000mm.  Slimline Vogue Headrail maximum width 4000mm.

Left Hand Cord

Both the tilt chain and open/close cord will be positioned on the left hand side.

Right Hand Cord

Both the tilt chain and open/close cord will be positioned on the right hand side.

Left Hand Wand (max width 3000mm)

A wand is attached to the front carrier on the left hand side only, pull the wand to the centre to open/close the blind and twist to tilt the louvres.  The wand is colour coordinated with the headrail colour.

Right Hand Wand (max width 3000mm)

A wand is attached to the front carrier on the right hand side only, pull the wand to the centre to open/close the blind and twist to tilt the louvres.  The wand is colour coordinated with the headrail colour.

Left Hand Cord

Both the tilt chain and open/close cord will be positioned on the left hand side.

Tilt Chain Colour

Select the control chain colour used for tilting the louvres.  Choose a plastic coordinating chain or a metal chrome chain.  The cord for opening and closing the blind will coordinated to the headrail colour.

Chained

Chained bottom weights are supplied with a plastic stabilising chain which links each louvre together at the bottom of the blind.

Chainless bottom weights do not require a stabilising chain and can be removed from the louvre if required.
