Are the blinds/slats made of plastic ?

Do you take anything off the measurements you get sent by customers ?

For "recess" measurements, an approximate deduction of 10mm will be made to the width ordered to ensure the blind fits within the recess without touching the sides. No deduction will be made to the drop, the blind will be made to the drop specified. For "exact" measurements, no deductions will be made, the blind will be manufactured to the exact size ordered.
Thank you for you sample that I ordered. We are now thinking of ordering your Alina White Fine Grain blinds. They have cords and ladders. Am I right in assuming that the cord runs inside the blinds and the ladders are the wider strips on the outside of the blinds? If that is the case, could you advise me on how many ladders would be applied to a blind 91inches wide and one 45inches wide.

This is correct. The ladder cords run through the blind and are required to operate the blind. Tapes are decorative strips of material which sit at the front of the ladder cord. A 91 inch wide blind will have eight ladders, and a 45 inch wide blind will have four ladders.
What does pelmet single and double return mean.

Hello,
Pelmet returns are small sections of pelmet which cover the ends of the headrail, which are visible when the blind is on the outside of a recess.
Select either a "plain pelmet" ideal for blinds being installed inside of a recess, "single return pelmet" ideal where one end of the blind headrail will be exposed, or "double return pelmet" ideal for blinds being installed on the outside of a recess where both sides of the blind headrail will be exposed.

Inside Window Opening
- Measure the width of the recess from wall to wall in three places, note the smallest measurement.
- Measure the drop of the recess from the top of the recess to the window sill in three places, note the smallest measurement.
- Enter the width and drop recorded in to our website as a RECESS measurement type.
Outside Window Opening
- Measure the exact width of your window and add approximately 10cm (4") to ensure the blind overlaps the window, record this measurement.
- Measure the exact drop of your window and add approximately 10cm (4") to ensure the blind overlaps the window, record this measurement.
