When making improvements to their properties, some UK householders might look to enhance areas such as bathrooms and conservatories, it has been suggested, which may interest Wooden Venetian Blinds users.

Kitchens and small extensions could also be focused on by property owners, the design director of Adrienne Chinn Design, Adrienne Chinn, remarked.

She said: "If we do have nice weather people do tend to think about maximising any exterior space they have.

"They might possibly be thinking about putting on conservatories or small extensions."

Home improvements might move up the agendas of some people if they are looking to stay in their properties rather than sell them during the difficult economic climate, Ms Chinn also stated.

Energy efficient home improvements are not currently being focused on by UK consumers as much as they could be, it was recently suggested by Gordon Miller, sustainability and communications director of Sustain Worldwide.
