A raffle has enabled a community hall to gain new blinds, it has been revealed, with the competition helping to raise funds for the facility.
The Clitheroe Advertiser and Times has reported on the results of the raffle which was recently operated by St Mary's RC Church.
According to the news provider: "The raffle was held to pay for the new blinds which are now in place in the community hall."
A bottle of whisky was gained by Jack Haythornthwaite in the raffle, after he won first prize in it.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Mead came out second in the church's competition.
Commenting in relation to
Window Blinds earlier this month, Sasha Witte noted in a piece for gazettes.com that
Venetian Blinds continue to be a popular option for homeowners to go for when sprucing up their properties.
Roman Blinds offer another option for people to consider, she also pointed out.
