This year could see a large number of property owners enhance their homes with the use of improvement work, new figures have suggested, in a development which may interest the likes of
Vertical Blinds users.
Survey results published by MyHammer have shown that over the course of 2011, some 60 per cent of householders might undertake improvement work, with interior painting work being considered by 63 per cent of these people.
The site's international general manager Gerrit Mueller commented that the use of qualified tradespeople may need to be considered by homeowners who are looking into improvements.
He stated: "If you are not terribly skilled, it can be more cost effective to pay for work to be done to be sure of a professional job."
Jim Hustwit, UK country manager at MyHammer, recently suggested that garden improvements may also become more popular among consumers now that spring is here.
