When it comes to their home interiors, many UK householders are prepared to make large-scale changes, new figures have suggested, which may interest Vertical Blinds owners.
Loft or basement conversions would be considered by 65 per cent of those consumers queried as part of Halifax research.
Meanwhile, a number of people are also unafraid of knocking down walls, with the firm's statistics showing that this might be an option for 76 per cent of the 18 to 40-year-olds questioned.
At the present time, householders appear to be less keen on compromise when it comes to the appearance of their property interiors, Halifax's commercial director of mortgages Stephen Noakes suggests.
He stated: "There's often a difference between the dream home and the reality of more traditional properties on the market but now, more than ever, people are willing to take on their own project."
Personal loans are still being used by householders for home improvements, research from Sainsbury's Finance recently highlighted.
