Dark colours are being favoured by some of the country's homeowners when it comes to the design of their bedroom environments, it has been suggested, which may interest the likes of
Roman Blinds users.
According to Kayleigh Hollobone, customer adviser at Wallpaper.co.uk, black shades and metallics are being combined by certain UK consumers at the present time.
Meanwhile, when it comes to people's wallpaper tastes in more general terms, she noted: "Lime green is getting very popular now, especially for kitchens.
"It's fresh and has got that kind of 'spring going into summer' feel, which is really popular."
Ms Hollobone went on to say that fifties-style wallpaper is also being adopted by some people right now.
The expert was speaking during this year's Ideal Home Show, which the Earls Court venue played host to earlier in the month.
This consumer show ran between March 11th and 27th at the London venue.
