Window Blinds 'could be used to create darker rooms for sleep'

Category: Roller Blinds
Window Blinds could play a part in people's sleeping habits, it has been suggested, with these coverings potentially making rooms darker.

Those thinking about buying a new set of Blackout Blinds may be interested to note the views of Dr Joti Samra, who has written in an article for the Globe and Mail that there are various steps which could enhance people's sleep.

The expert stated: "Create a pleasant environment for sleep. Get a comfortable pillow."

"Use blinds or heavy curtains to create a dark room. Turn off phone ringers," Dr Samra added.

Activities which get in the way of sleep should be cut out of people's evening routines, the psychologist also suggested in the article.

Festive holiday-goers might want to make sure that their Window Blinds are in the usual position when away from home, for security reasons, Ryan Strotmann recently suggested in a piece published by EMC Stittsville/Richmond.
