People concerned about regulating the amount of heat that is able to enter and leave their properties might benefit from the use of Window Blinds in the future, it has been highlighted by one commentator.
Those thinking about fitting new Roller Blinds in their houses may want to take note of the guidance outlined by John Roach in an article published by MSNBC.com.
He wrote: "Shades or blinds cut down on heat lost in the winter and heat gained in the summer."
However, such window coverings are not the only measures that people could introduce in a bid to deal with heat issues.
In his article, Mr Roach also discussed the potential for consumers to think about caulking windows which leak.
Last month, the possible benefits offered by certain green property improvements were highlighted by Michael Holmes, the National Home Improvement Council spokesperson.
Renewable energy devices could boost home values, he suggested.
