According to Ed Korczak, executive director and chief executive officer of the National Wood Flooring Association, a "green flooring option" is also provided to people with the help of wooden surfaces.
Maintenance is also something which householders should not need to focus on too much when it comes to their wooden floors, Mr Korczak continued, with this likely to prove fairly easy.
He added: "Wood floors last a lifetime. When wood floors start to look worn down, they can be sanded and refinished to look new again."
