Window Blinds may need to be adopted in people's conservatories if these areas are south-facing, one writer has suggested, in a development which may interest the likes of Panel Blinds users.

Commenting in an article for the Daily Telegraph, Graham Norwood pointed out the reason why this may be the case.

He stated: "South-facing conservatories can seriously overheat, requiring blinds and air conditioning."

In his article, Mr Norwood also remarked that certain heating devices might need to be utilised by homeowners during the colder months of the year if they are still keen to sit in their conservatory extensions.

He added: "Under-floor heating or convection heaters allow conservatories to be used in winter."

When it comes to conservatory additions at people's properties, Andrew Leech, spokesman for the National Home Improvement Council, recently suggested that home values could go up in some cases as a result of new conservatory developments.
