In the present financial climate, blinds are among the home furnishings that consumers are aiming to make more colourful, according to one expert, which may interest those who own items like Panel Blinds.

Writing in an article for the Independent, Emily Jenkinson noted that the state of the country's economy appears to have altered people's attitudes to their interior design choices.

She stated: "Everything from our blinds and bed throws to our tea towels and coffee mugs are getting the colour treatment, with print and pattern leading the charge."

In her piece, Ms Jenkinson also pointed out that people's tastes were less expressive before the recession hit their finances.

Rather than favouring colourful rooms, she suggested that minimalism was popular.

Green is a colour that is presently proving quite attractive to some of the UK's consumers, it was recently emphasised by ksmallridge in a Very.co.uk blog post.
