Panel Blinds might wish to open these coverings in a bid to support the forthcoming Earth Day event, it has been suggested.
This could help them to make use of natural light, rather than electricity, Ross McRoy, president of eco-friendly firm Enviro-Log, noted.
Among a range of guidance produced by the expert ahead of Earth Day on April 22nd, he pointed out: "Turn off your lights and electronics when you leave a room.
"Open the blinds during the day and take advantage of the sunlight."
Greener forms of transportation could also be used by people on the day, rather than their cars, Mr McRoy added.
Public transport and walking are among the more environmentally-friendly options which they might want to consider, the commentator said.
If used in the right way,
Window Blinds might potentially help people who are aiming to enhance their home security, it was recently suggested by Ageas Insurance and the Neighbourhood Watch Trust.
