In some cases, closed
Window Blinds, which may include
Panel Blinds, might prove useful to office computer users who are keen to avoid straining their eyes too much, an expert suggests.
Speaking to Carrie Marks in a piece published by bestofneworleans.com, Dr James McGuinness commented that workplace lighting can have an impact on people's eyes.
He stated: "A quick fix from an ergonomic standpoint is to minimise or eliminate outside glare.
"For example, close the blinds if there is direct sunlight from a window shining onto the screen."
Dr McGuinness also explained to the news provider that 'computer vision syndrome' is something which people might have to contend with if they undertake a lot of work on office PCs.
Meanwhile, businesses aiming to improve working conditions for their staff might also want to note the views of Francis McGinty, organisational stress management professional and board member of the International Stress Management Association UK, who recently suggested that mood music might have a positive impact on people in an office.
