When it comes to decorating bathroom environments, black is proving to be something of an on-trend colour at the moment, according to one expert.

Window Blinds might be interested to hear the views of Cheryl Gurner, creative director of Bathrooms International, who suggests that black is a popular accent colour at the moment.
She stated: "Dramatic, elegant and glamorous, black gloss has an inherent mirror effect and, set against actual clear mirror, alludes softness against the drama."
Various black elements could be introduced to people's bathrooms, such as glass, marbles, baths and basins, Ms Gurner went on to say.
When it comes to home improvements, Jim Hustwit, UK country manager at MyHammer, recently suggested that the likes of energy-efficient measures could potentially have a positive impact on people's house values.
Such measures could include the adoption of double glazing and insulation, he added.
