When it comes to 2011's interior design trends, rich colour palettes are among the options consumers are going for at the moment, an expert has suggested, which may interest those hoping to complement Aluminium Venetian Blinds.

According to Hannah Barnes, founder of interior design firm Hannah Barnes Designs, midnight blue is one colour that might be proving popular in this regard, along with certain teal shades.

Highlighting other trends that are arising at the moment, she stated: "Styled storage will be a big trend in 2011, with a slight throwback to retro curves, large handles and slim-legged furniture."

Ms Barnes went on to say: "We will see a lot of metallic accessories mixed in to break up ... flat colour."

When it comes to people's bedroom designs meanwhile, Jan Turner, spokeswoman for the Sleep Council, recently highlighted the importance of investing in the right bed to suit the individual needs of consumers.
