Before they leave home to go on holiday, or for another purpose, householders are being encouraged to think about the ways in which their
Window Blinds are left, in a development which may interest
Aluminium Venetian Blinds users.
Speaking to CBC News, security consultant and locksmith Frank Fourchalk has noted the need for holiday-goers to partially shut their blinds in order to try and address the threat of burglary.
He stated: "I always say they [blinds] should be partially closed when they're going away because if your blinds are open, a bad guy can get up there and sneak a look."
Mr Fourchalk also told the news provider that a lived-in appearance is something that householders should aspire to achieve when leaving their property behind.
Meanwhile, This is South Wales also recently reported on the views of Whitestone Primary School's headteacher Bethan Peterson, who described her organisation's attempts to gain funds for new blinds.
