In order to block sunlight from their home interiors in a slightly greener manner, homeowners could potentially look to adopt
Venetian Blinds products in the near future, one expert has highlighted.
Writing in an article published by EMC Arnprior, the National Association of Green Agents and Brokers member and broker Ted Kelly commented that these products can also look good in people's homes.
He stated: "
Venetian Blinds or California shutters are both aesthetically appealing and effective at shutting out the sun's glare."
In his piece for the news provider, Mr Kelly added that summer heat could also potentially be tackled by consumers with the help of decent levels of insulation.
Among his range of other guidance, the commentator also noted: "If you can, minimise use of your stove in really hot weather."
Meanwhile, blinds owners looking to improve their home lighting levels might be interested to note that Eva Hammerson, head of design at Kandabi, recently suggested mood lighting could be added to interiors in a "less-is-more" style.
